Jammie Shirt

Decorating a Jammie Shirt.
M was so excited to do this :)
Thank you, Auntie Trisha!

Let me tell you as I saw her squirt this ALL out...
My mind went all chaotic for a moment with "Whoa! Chill on the squeeeeze please!"
BUT that was just in my mind.
Normally with her art, I am all for letting her figure it out and have fun.
It's about the process not the destination, right ;)
I did kinda cringe with the huge gob of paint...
But my mommy happy carefree artist face was on :)

M: "Ok, Mommy, I'm Done!"
Me: "You're all done?"
M: "Well, wait. One more thing..."

M: "We fold it over like this and make it nice and flat AND perfect!"

M: "All done, Mommy! Here you go!!"

Allowing the process to unfold all on it's own,
watching how much intent and thought that goes into her art,
and seeing that proud beaming face...
is beyond rewarding!

LadyBug Garden

Our front yard is now being reffered to as
LadyBug Garden.
If you go sit on the lawn in the sun, quiet your mind and
become one with nature, you will begin to take in all the little life going on in the lawn.
Who am I kidding?!
You walk out to our lawn look down and you will see like 5 ladybugs
without even trying :)
Tho, I am all for becoming one with nature!

Oh, the ladybug is telling you she wants to come in the house.

Ok, we are in and half way to the playstands...
M likes to decorate the walls with crayons..an artist draws everywhere :)

The ladybug found the dandelion figurine!

M said she (the ladybug) wanted to go back out to nature!

M collected a few things from the yard to make a home for the ladybug.

She loves to make FUN faces!!
